Research becomes operational evidence.

Hypotheses, experiments, evaluations and architecture decisions connect to products and policy.

Research lifecycle

Question → evidence → decision support → governed change.

A report is complete only when the next system decision is clear.

  1. 01
    Frame

Declare the decision need, scope and stop condition.

    complete
  2. 02
    Collect

Gather attributable sources with provenance and freshness.

    active
  3. 03
    Synthesize

    Separate observations, inferences and uncertainty.

    queued
  4. 04
    Evaluate

Test the proposed conclusion against scenarios or counterevidence.

  5. 05
    Operationalize

Map accepted findings to contracts, roadmap or product work.

Decision need

Research begins with a decision the system may need to make.

A research artifact names its question, scope, sources, uncertainty, relevance and operational owner rather than collecting interesting links indefinitely.

Evidence discipline

Observation, inference and recommendation remain separate.

Attributable facts are not blended with model judgment, and unresolved uncertainty survives into the final artifact.

Operationalization

Useful findings connect to contracts, evaluations or roadmap decisions.

Research does not become product behavior until its boundary, evidence and approval path are explicit.
